      Nameless Tile Map Editor [NTME]

      Comparison

      As you can see, it's much faster..
      Layout was slightly edited..
      Added shifting function.. (Heh.. I needed it for the FR Version Logo tile map :P)

      Version Info: (Alpha 1)
      This is the first alpha of my Tile Map Editor.
      If you want to know, yes.. the name is just temporary! ;)
      NTME was once "Hurricane Prototype", the editor Darthatron is/was working on.
      He gave me the source, which included the basic 4BPP loading (without flip support).
      The source was a great help to me, as I now learned how to use BitBlt & StretchBlt :D
      Therefore I like to thank Darthatron. Make sure you check out his tile map editor when it comes out!

      I release this alpha because I need to know what people like to see added..
      AND, to be honest, I need testers (:P).. As I don't have the time to test myself.
      Actually.. I only tested the editor itself, I never imported an edited tile map..

      Todo:
      • Palette-Mapper..? (Like Movement Persmissions in AdvanceMap)
      • Probbaly solve some/a lot of bugs!
      • Listen to your suggestions!

      One thing i always hatet on cyclone is,that theres no copy&paste T_T
      So it would be nice if ypur editor could have that.
      Oh and, it would be better too if you make a better cursor or atleast
      use a zoom for the tilemap and tileset field.
      But yeah nice programm.
      The only thing i dont figured out at the moment is that "add x bytes t othe end" thingy ^^
      Btw. why dont you call your editor Tilemap Editor instead of Nameless Tilemap Editor xD?

      yeah, simple TME would be cool as name ^^
      Btw, I think Milanor is right with the cursor. You know Darthatron's Hurricane Prototype, so you may know the cursor there.
      He once gave me the tool for testing purposes, one thing I loved about it was the cursor.
      I didn't test your tool yet (I'll use it soon, though...) so I dunno if you made the same cursor. But if not, maybe you could make it similar to the one from hurricane ^^

      What do you mean?
      If you right click a tile on the tilemap, that tile gets selected..

      Darthatron included that.. And I left it there :P
      It's for.. like.. I'll ask him :lol: But what it does is add a number of bytes to the end of the tilemap, to increase the size..

      Btw, for the name.. you can send suggestions through PM 8)

      Ah.. Darthatron didn't include the cursor when he sent me the source.. Maybe I'll make my own cursor ;)

      Well i gues you didnt understand what i mean... ->
      Mapping huge titelscreens are a pain in the ...
      Thats why i want a MASS Selecting copy&paste.
      Example: theres a tree, 4x4 tiles and you want to map that tree on the
      whole length of the map screen, thats gona be a lot of work and time :s

      That too is a planned feature ;)
      Might not be in the next release, but it certainly will be included in some release :P
